Christ Presbyterian Church is continuing on its mission of faith. 

This mission began more than twenty years ago with a small group of devout Christians who felt the need for a church in the La Costa area of Northern San Diego County. The group, led by Pastor George DeWeese, founded Christ Presbyterian Church of Rancho La Costa in 1979. 

Through their hard work and faithful service, Christ Presbyterian has grown from its modest beginnings to its current size of over 300 families and more than 500 individual members. 

North County is experiencing a population boom like never before. New houses are springing up like wild poppies and we are all seeing many new faces on Sunday mornings. This growth is just the beginning. Considering the influx of people moving into our area, we expect church membership to double over the next 5-7 years.
